The serene setting nestled within the NZ Natural Bush provided an ideal backdrop for engaging walks to witness the beauty of the river, waterfalls, and ancient Maori pa sites, charming both adults and kids alike. The tour desk's versatility was impressive; Not only did they assist in arranging scenic winery visits, but also exciting activities like bird watching and swimming with dolphins, catering to diverse family interests. While my focus lies on marine conservation, I couldn't resist praising the breathtaking views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in our spacious room. And the convenient proximity to Kauri Cliffs golf course was a definite bonus for golf enthusiasts in the family. Stone Store Lodge proved to be a welcoming haven for families, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a memorable and inclusive experience in the heart of Kerikeri.
